White Bread

Ingredients
- 1 c warm water
- 3 Tbsp yeast
- 2 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 c flour, approximately
Instructions
- Combine warm water and yeast and sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt. Set aside.
- Warm milk and butter in the microwave until butter just begins to melt (if too hot, it will kill the yeast)
- Combine milk mixture, sugar, salt, and 2 c flour. Beat for one minute.
- Add water/yeast mixture and 2 c more flour. Mix for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in 3-4 more c flour. Knead until smooth (about 10 minutes)
- Let rise one hour or until doubled.
- Shape into loaves. Let rise one hour or until doubled.
- Bake at 375° 35 minutes.
