  1. Brown ground beef and sausage together with onion and garlic. Drain. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil, oregano and sugar. Set aside.
  2. In blender, blend cottage and Parmesan cheeses, parsley, and eggs until smooth and well-blended.
  3. Spray bottom of 9x13 pan with non-stick cooking spray. Spread about ¼ cup of meat and tomato mixture on pan’s bottom. Lay lasagna noodles over spread sauce.
  4. Spread cottage cheese mixture over noodles. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella. Top with another layer of noodles.
  5. Spread meat sauce over noodles. Top with remaining mozzarella. Spray aluminum foil with nonstick cooking spray and cover pan of lasagna with foil.
  6. Bake at 350 for 1 hr. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 mins. Remove from oven and wait ten minutes before serving.
