Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp molasses*
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose or whole wheat flour
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 12 oz high quality semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- 400° for 10 minutes for regular-size cookies 375° for 13 minutes for large cookies
- *Instead of molasses, white sugar can be reduced to 3/4 cup, and 3/4 cup brown sugar be added.
