Caramels (Microwave)

  1. Grease a microwaveable 2 qt bowl.
  2. Put butter in.
  3. Microwave 1-2 minutes on medium high.
  4. Blend in sugar, syrup, milk, and salt.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap, and cut a slit in it.
  6. Microwave 10 minutes on high.
  7. Stir well.
  8. Microwave uncovered 10-15 minutes on medium high.
  9. Test for firm ball.
  10. Add vanilla.
  11. Pour into greased pan.
